Who is this for?
The QNUK Level 3 Award in Administration of Emergency Medical Gases (RQF) is the ideal qualification for those that are responsible for the administering of oxygen and Entonox® /Nitonox This is typically those working in a Pre-hospital setting.
This qualification includes the use of a AED and is alligned to the current UK resuscitation council guidelines.
Pre-Requisites:
This qualification is available to those over 18 years. Learners should be at least a level 2 numeracy and literacy or equivalent. Learners should also hold a valid first aid certificate as a minimum.
Due to the language of the assessment, it is recommended that learners have sufficient command of the English language in order to understand the assessment and to undertake the recommended assessment methods.
Attendees will be required to demonstrate First Aid procedures as they would in a real work environment. This includes providing CPR to a casualty who is on the floor, therefore be physically capable of doing so.
